Blue and White Bowl, China, Qing dynasty, the shallow sides glazed in cobalt blue, the interior decorated with a roundel of stylized lotus buds and flowers surrounded by a double-line border which is repeated at the rim, six-character Qianlong mark on base, dia. 5 1/4 in. Provenance: Sold to benefit the acquisition fund of the Hood Museum of Art, Dartmouth College, Hanover, New Hampshire. Note: Partial Mathias Komor sticker on base.
