Gilt and Enameled Vase, China, 19th century, oviform with waisted neck flaring to mouth, resting on a raised straight foot, the body decorated with lotus scrolls, bats, swastikas, and shou characters between a border with a ruyi and cloud design around the shoulder and a lotus leaf lappet encircling the bottom near foot, a band of floral scrolls around shoulder, two chilong -inspired S-curved handles to neck, the mouth rim and the outlines of all motifs in gilt, the mouth and recessed base in underglaze light blue, six-character Daoguang mark in gilt on base, with a carved wood stand, ht. 11 3/8 in.
