Eliza Draper Gardiner (American, 1871-1955) Two Landscape Views: Passaconway, before 1920, edition of 40 (Cywin et al. , 26); and The River . The former signed and numbered "E.D. Gardiner 31/40" in pencil within the image l.r.; the latter unsigned, titled in pencil l.c. Color woodcuts on paper, image sizes approximately 10 x 7 1/2 in. (25.4 x 19.0 cm), framed. Condition: Pale fox marks, River faded and with gentle toning, not examined out of frames. N.B. Passaconway is a mountain in New Hampshire named for a chieftain of the Pennacook tribe.
