Childe Hassam (American, 1859-1935) The Chimneys, Portsmouth , 1915, probably an edition of 100 (Cortissoz, 16). Monogrammed and inscribed "...imp." in pencil l.r., monogrammed and dated within the plate, identified on a label from the Kennedy Galleries, Inc., New York, affixed to the backing paper. Etching with drypoint on paper, plate size 5 x 8 1/4 in. (12.5 x 20.6 cm), framed. Condition: Not examined out of frame.
