Thirty-nine Apache Painted Rawhide Playing Cards, c. second half 19th century, possibly Chiricahua, 3 1/16 x 2 3/16 in. Provenance: Collected in the 1920s and descended in the family to the present owners. Note: Includes a statement on the cards from Alan Ferg in 2007, archivist and acting head of Photo Collections, Arizona State Museum.
