Kashmir "Turn Around" Shawl, North India, c. 1860, the empty red square field with two small ivory inscriptions at opposing corners, with an inner border comprised of multiple confronting bent-tip "boteh" enclosing blossoming leaves, all within a main border with alternating ivory, black, and medium blue blossoming vines, enclosed by an allover dense network of "boteh" and vines, polychrome lappets on all four sides, 6 ft. x 6 ft.
