Persian "Moon" Shawl, late 19th century, the round sawtooth-edged center medallion with quarter medallions at each corner all on a red, apple green, and light blue striped with curled and hooked vine-patterned field, the top and bottom border with stylized palmettes and the side borders with a contiguous curled and split blossoming vine, polychrome embroidered lappets at one end, 5 ft. 11 in. x 5 ft. 9 in.
