Serapi Carpet, Northwest Persia, late 19th century, the navy cruciform-type center medallion with large light blue pendants on a light red serrated lozenge sparsely inset with large archaic palmettes and serrated leaves, on a medium blue field with similar devices, all within a wide light blue highly stylized stepped diamond and angular vine main border, multiple carnation and vine and eight-pointed star and serrated leaf minor borders, 15 ft. x 11 ft.
