Antique Fereghan Sarouk Rug, West Persia, late 19th century, the midnight blue ovoid center medallion inset with a delicately drawn foliate design on an ivory field with blue-green vines and polychrome blossoming flowerheads, light red spandrels, all within a navy meandering vine, leaf, and palmette main border, multiple small "boteh"-patterned minor borders, 6 ft. 7 in. x 3 ft. 11 in.
