English Mahogany Longcase Clock, c. 1760, dental molded pitch pediment hood over the cast brass Corinthian fluted freestanding columns, flanking the unsigned composite brass dial, strike/silent in arch, Roman numeral silvered chapter ring with quarter and half hour markings, matted center with subsidiary seconds dial and blank calendar aperture, tombstone waist door flanked by brass capital fluted quarter-columns, terminating in a molded base, five-pillar, brass, eight-day time and hour strike movement with false plate, regulated by a strap brass pendulum and two brass-cased lead weights, ht. 88 in.
