Enameled Encre de Chine Plaque, China, 18th century, depicting in black and iron red enamels the eighteen Luohans seated in groups either holding their respective attributes or accompanied by animals including a tiger, dragon, and deer, gilt details, imperial Qianlong seal in a square cartouche to the bottom right corner, framed, plaque 8 5/8 x 11 1/2 in. Note: Certificate of Antiquity issued in 1978 by Hong Kong Art Craft Merchants Association Limited pasted on the back of the frame.
