Two-sided Mughal-style Miniature Painting, India, depicting a battle scene with armored horse riders with swords, riders falling, and decapitated heads on the ground, an inscription line directly above the painting and another laid out in four columns below, the margins decorated with floral and foliate scrolls in blue, red, and gold, the reverse with an inscription laid out in a gold frame with four columns and two rows, color and gold on paper, framed and glazed, painting 13 1/4 x 8 1/2 in.
