Chaim Gross (American, 1904-1991) Handstand Balancing Baby , 1957 Signed and numbered "Chaim Gross 1/6" on the reverse. Bronze with dark brown patina, approximately 10 5/8 x 3 1/2 x 2 3/4 in. (27.0 x 8.9 x 7.0 cm), mounted to a marble plinth. Condition: Dust to interstices. N.B. The present work is no. s1957.10 (another cast illustrated) in the Chaim Gross Catalogue Raisonné, Renee and Chaim Gross Foundation.
