Harold E. "Doc" Edgerton (American, 1903-1990) Two Photographs: Swirls and Eddies: Tennis and Twirling a Baton , 1939 and 1953, respectively, both printed later. Both signed "HAROLD EDGERTON" in pencil on the verso, Tennis inscribed "82.0300" in pencil on the verso l.r., Baton inscribed "81.0126" and "5301.A/P" in pencil on the verso l.r. Gelatin silver prints, image sizes to 17 3/8 x 14 1/2 in. (44.1 x 36.8 cm), unmatted, unframed. Condition: Slight rippling, minor wear to corners.
