Arman (French/American, 1928-2005) Telemann , 1992 Signed and numbered "Arman 5/30" on the reverse. Cast and sliced bronze, 27 3/16 x 7 13/16 x 7 in. (69.1 x 45.2 x 17.8 cm), mounted to a black granite plinth. Condition: Minor wear and surface abrasions. N.B. This work, described as a "transculpture," consists of a sliced bronze cast violin and trumpet, welded together. It was fabricated in the Arman Studio, New York.
