Henry Moore (British, 1898-1986) Mother and Child: Paleo , 1979 Signed and numbered "Moore 6/9" in the cast on the base, with a label from Dominion Gallery, Montreal, Canada, affixed to the base. Bronze with deep brown patina, 5 1/8 x 4 x 1 7/8 in. (13.3 x 10.2 x 4.8 cm), mounted to a wooden plinth. Condition: Minor surface grime. Literature: Alan Bowness, Henry Moore, Complete Sculpture , Vol. 5, London, 1988, no. 769, plate 177. Provenance: A private Massachusetts collection.
