Three Paintings and a Calligraphy, Japan, two sumi-e paintings, each depicting two bamboo stalks combined with a "bamboo" character, sealed; a painting depicting fish, shrimp, and crab with water plants, in the manner of Kubota Beisen (1852-1906), ink and light color on paper; and a fan calligraphy written in oracle script along the upper part of the fifteen-fold fan, inscribed with three seals, mounted on a silk mat, sizes to 9 3/8 x 20 1/4 in.
