Pair of Four-panel Lacquered Floor Screens, China, 20th century, all eight panels decorated in three sections with the top depicting a vase and auspicious plants, fruit, and scholarly items in an eight-petaled reserve in gold lacquer on one side and on the other with multicolored bats and cloud scrolls in gold outlines, each of four panels of one screen depicting a legendary female figure and a floral branch in the mid and bottom sections, respectively, and the other depicting boys at play and a shishi dragon, each panel 72 1/2 x 16 in.
