Red Stoneware Cream Pail, England, c. 1750-65, probably Staffordshire and in the manner of Thomas Astbury, circular form with canted sides and crimped rolled rim above zigzag rouletting, the body with alternating applied motifs, two with arabesque scrollwork and two with depictions of Chinese women in varying poses with birds, ht. 2 1/2 in.
