Miniature Creamware Dish with Fish, England, c. 1780, probably Staffordshire or Yorkshire, oval shape with press-molded scalloped rim, the border with fleur-de-lis pendants alternating with sprigs and underglaze reddish brown enameled garnishes, at either end green-glazed fennel stalks, all surrounding a central fish head decorated with reddish brown to the eye, gill, and fin, lg. 4 in.
