Two Tin-glazed Earthenware Tiles, England, c. 1757-61, probably Liverpool, attributed to John Sadler printshop, each black printed, one with rococo foliate border surrounding a central vignette depicting shepherd and shepherdess sharing a toast from fluted glasses; the other framed with floral garlands and central depiction of Chinese figures with a lady holding a bird and fan, a child to her side, a manservant tending to a parasol, 5 x 5 in.
