Spanish Colonial School, 18th to 20th Century Six Unstretched Canvases Depicting Religious Subjects: Female Saint (possibly St. Justina) Flanked by Two Angels , St. Michael Vanquishing the Devil , S. Felipe Neri , Standing Christ Holding a Child and a Lily , Standing Madonna and Child , and Sabana Santa (The Deposition) . All oil on canvas, sizes to 38 x 27 in. Condition: Most with paint losses, punctures, abrasions, tears, creasing, and surface grime. Provenance: Purchased in South America, most likely in the 1930s, by an American who traveled widely across the continent, with a focus on Ecuador.
