Northwest Coast Carved Horn Ladle, c. second half 19th century, carved in two pieces held together by a copper rivet, the handle with seated human figure above two totemic animal heads, (some insect damage to the scoop), lg. 10 in. Note: An old note reads in part: "spoon-black horn of mountain sheep Haida, Tlingit, John B. Whiteman, 1924."
