Plains Pipe, c. 1870s, the very large catlinite T-bowl with ribbed sections and hearts at the base of the bowl, the tip probably broken off at an early date, the ash stem with cutouts, brass tacks, remnant plaited quillwork, and traces of red pigment, (quill loss, cracks in the stem), overall lg. 32 3/4, bowl lg. 9 in.
