20th century. Quanyin sculptural head composed of plaster with patinated and oxidized bronzed metal finish. Figural deity head depicted in traditional form with hair upswept with tiara ornament, elongated ears and earlobs, soft rounded facial features, serene smile and content disposition. Cast head mounted on a copper colored tapered plinth base, accompanied with heavy metal bracket support for mounting on wall. Apparently unmarked. Overall approximate height 16", width 8.125", depth 6.5". Provenance: From the Estate of Mrs. Katrina S. Henritze, Atlanta, Georgia whereby acquired by consignor in Atlanta, Georgia.
