Central Plains Beaded Hide Man's Shirt, c. 1870s, the soft hide open sided form profusely fringed and painted with blue, yellow, and red pigments, the front with pictorial drawing of a hand, a frontal view of a man's head, a pipe, and the name "Good Eagle," the front bottom fringe with red pigment, the back with a pipe, a man's head in profile, and a hand, the hide strips and bibs beaded with multicolored geometric designs on a white background, the animal leg drops are also beaded, three remaining hair lock decorations, (repairs at shoulders, bead loss, appears to have been worn for many years), lg. 38 in.
