Continental, late 19th/early 20th century. Regence style walnut stained carved fauteuil a la reine having an arched tall padded back issuing a pair of floral carved, scrolled arms over a padded seat and serpentine apron centered with carved shell and foliate raised on leafy carved cabriole legs terminating on hoof feet. The back and seat covered in burgundy and wine stripped upholstery with stylized bees and secured with nailhead trim. Approximate height 44.12", width 28.25", seat depth 22.12", seat height 16".
