Green-glazed Pottery Jar with Tin-clad Cover, China, 19th/20th century, hexagonal, with straight neck and circular mouth, resting on a flat round base, each side decorated with a figural scene in a lobed panel bordered with a raised band, the cover clad with tin rim and flange, jewel knob finial, ht. 11 in. Provenance: The descendants of Dudley L. Pickman (1779-1846), and Charles G. Loring (1828-1902) of Massachusetts.
