Set of Eggshell Enameled Porcelain Tea Service with Tray, Japan, early 20th century, comprising a bulbous lidded teapot with C-shape handle and S-shape spout, a bulbous lidded sugar pot with two C-shape handles, a rounded tea bowl, a C-shape handled floral-rimmed teacup and saucer, and a square tray with lobed corners, all decorated with a variety of chrysanthemum flowerheads hand painted in pastel-tone enamels, gilt details to all rims, two-character "Nikko" mark in iron red to all bases except the tea bowl, teacup, and the tray with eight-character Nikko mark on the bisque base, tray 14 1/4 x 14 1/4, vessels ht. to 7, dia. to 5 5/8 in.
