Thangka Depicting Akshobhya Buddha in Abhirati, Tibetan China, 18th/19th century style, sitting cross-legged on an upturned lotus pedestal with the Wheel of the Law, with a medicine bowl on his left palm and his right hand in bhumisparsha mudra, against a double halo and nimbus encircled with floral branches, along with numerous lama figures grouped in rows, five deities in a flamed nimbus in front, distemper on cotton, gilt and metallic silver pigment details, backed with paper, 26 3/8 x 19 1/8 in.
