Carved Stone Sculpture of Ganesh and a Buddhist Stele Base, Southeast Asia, Ganesh depicted in seated pose holding his trunk in one hand and his tusk in the other, wearing a banded cone-shaped headdress, on a semicircular base, ht. 18 3/4; and a carved stone stele base, the front with a carving of Buddha seated in lotus pose under a recessed archway, flanked by four smaller carvings of attendants in square recesses, the sides similarly decorated, the reverse with eleven relief carvings of figures in Buddhist poses and the top with a raised lotus pedestal and four recessed round holes, 7 x 17 x 8 5/8 in.
