Frank Weston Benson (American, 1862-1951) Yellowlegs No. 4 , 1928, published state probably of 150 (Paff, 284). Signed "FrankWBenson." in pencil l.l. Drypoint on laid paper with "ENGLAND" watermark, plate size 7 7/8 x 9 7/8 in. (19.9 x 25.0 cm), unmatted, unframed. Condition: Full margins with deckled edges to three sides, but with loss to part of the upper edge, masking tape along remainder of upper edge (recto), pencil annotations to lower margin. Provenance: Descended within the family of the artist.
