Elizabeth Wentworth Roberts (American, 1871-1927) Sailing Along the Nile Monogrammed and dated "ERW 1904" l. l. Oil on board, 9 1/2 x 12 3/4 in. (24.0 x 32.3 cm), in a period Egyptian revival frame (under glass). Condition: Minor surface grime. N.B. While the location cannot be determined with certainty, Roberts exhibited several Egyptian subjects at the Art Institute of Chicago in 1905 and 1906.
