The project created awareness on multiple fronts: by the republication of the Declaration on a grand scale so that copies could be distributed to school, colleges, and universities around the globe; through world-wide exhibitions of the works created by a group of artist who are respected on the international stage; and to inspire the artists themselves to dialogues - if not activism - on the subject of liberty.
