Fred Skaggs Sterling Silver Ring and Earclips, the ring with a large green cabochon in a setting surrounded by four red cabochons and the earclips in an abstract triangle form set with turquoise, each stamped "Sterling Handmade H. Fred Skaggs," ring size 6 1/2, total 1.1 troy oz. Provenance: From the Collection of Christie Romero. Christie Romero was a historian of antique, period, and vintage jewelry, as well as a certified gemologist, lecturer, instructor and consultant. She was the director of the Center for Jewelry Studies, the author of Warman's Jewelry , and an appraiser on PBS's Antiques Roadshow.
