Hanging Scroll Depicting Two Scholars in the Mountain, China, in the manner of Gu Yan (1872-1940), depicting pine trees, mountains, a river, and two scholars on a bridge, with an inscription translated as "visiting an old friend by the bridge over the river," signed "Gu Yan Mo Qi," sealed "Mo Qi," dated "wuyin" year (1938), ink and light color on paper, painting 46 1/4 x 22 in. Note: Mo Qi is the artist's name of Gu Yan.
