Two Informal Lady's Robes, China, 19th/20th century, one lightweight sky blue silk with sleeve bands embroidered with peonies, lotuses, and cranes, the neck, opening and bottom trimmed with a blue floral embroidery, and one teal silk with sleeve bands embroidered with peonies and butterflies in pinks and purples, the robe panels embroidered with flowering gourds and butterflies and a contrasting trim in black, lg. to 45 in.
