Kashmir "Moon" Shawl, North India, c. 1815, the transparent center medallion filled with columns of stylized leaves floats on a "khatraaz" field of broad ivory, light blue, gold, and tan bands with an ascending flower and vine pattern separated by alternating red and indigo narrow stripes, 4 ft. 9 in. x 4 ft. 10 in.
