Antique Hamadan Rug, Northwest Persia, late 19th century, the light red sawtooth-edged and hooked cartouche inset with confronting animals, and light blue baskets with blossoms inset with a navy lozenge with various small-scale geometric devices and highly stylized animals, all on a navy field of similar design, multiple meandering vine, rosette, and "boteh" borders, 6 ft. 1 in. x 4 ft. 10 in.
