Four Cloisonne Vases, China and Japan, late 19th/20th century, all of baluster form, one decorated with a pair of dragons facing each other with a pearl between them, on a black ground inlaid with clouds above a lishui border at the base, a ruyi -head border at the mouth and shoulders, ht. 9; one decorated with alternating panels of butterflies, flower vines, and a phoenix, a band of abstract patterns on a metallic ground at the shoulders, ht. 8 1/2; one decorated with fleur-de-lis motifs in metallic green, purple, and blue on a black enamel ground, ht. 7 1/8; and one decorated with cartouches depicting stylized phoenixes in metallic enamels, a floral border at the neck, ht. 7 1/4 in.
