Pair of Carved Walnut Side Chairs, Pennsylvania, late 18th century, the shaped crest rails centering a shell with scrolled terminals above the scrolled pierced diamond splats and raking stiles, the upholstered slip seats on frontal cabriole legs with shell-carved knees continuing to claw-and-ball feet, joined to chamfered raking rear legs, old surface, (imperfections), ht. 38, seat ht. 17 1/2 in. Note: Both chairs branded "C.W. HAM."
