Two Shahsavan Soumak Bagfaces, Northwest Persia, third quarter/late 19th century, one with a large salmon octagon inset with mirror image serrated devices on a light blue field with a stylized rosette inner border and a wide ivory contiguous hooked diamond main border, 1 ft. 9 in. x 1 ft. 10 in., and one with a highly stylized navy eight-pointed star center medallion on a light red field, within a navy, and ivory octagon patterned main border, multiple meandering stylized rosette, leaf, and vine minor borders, 1 ft. 7 in. x 1 ft. 7 in.
