Mary Beams (American, b. 1945) Window Leaners Unsigned. Oil on plywood, 48 x 96 in., unframed. Condition: Surface grime, with dirt presenting as droplets, craquelure, abrasion to lower edge. N.B. The artist writes that "...all the other people in the panels were passengers at the time I rode the Green Line photographing, bless them. I am struck by how many look weary and are resting their heads in their hands."
