Classical Carved Mahogany and Mahogany Veneer Worktable, probably New York, c. 1820-30, the fold-out top with crossbanded edge supported by pullout slides, on the case of three drawers, the topmost of which is fitted for writing with an adjustable felted surface, flanked by carved panels continuing to similarly carved legs joining a shaped lower shelf, replaced brass pulls, refinished, (imperfections), ht. 29 1/2, wd. 22 1/2, dp. 17 in.
