Classical Mahogany and Mahogany Veneer Desk/Bookcase, Boston, Massachusetts, second quarter 19th century, the upper sections with cove-molded cornice and arched tympanum over two hinged doors with affixed columns, opening to an interior of three adjustable shelves and two bird'seye maple veneered drawers, set atop a lower section with fall-front baize writing surface, a convex drawer and two recessed long drawers flanked by columns, all raised on turned feet, (imperfections), ht. 90 1/2, wd. 56, dp. 23 in.
