Federal Inlaid Cherry Desk/Bookcase, possibly Vermont, early 19th century, the upper section with a molded cornice over two hinged, diamond-inlaid, paneled doors revealing an interior with shaped compartments, over a lower section with diamond-inlaid fall-front lid opening to a fitted interior of valanced compartments and drawers, over four graduated, string-inlaid drawers, raised on a scalloped skirt and flaring French feet, (imperfections), ht. 84 1/2, wd. 40, dp. 20 1/4 in.
