Four Wedgwood Tricolor Jasper Dip Items, England, 19th century, a cylindrical diceware underdish with black ground, white foliage and yellow quatrefoils to engine-turned dicing, dia. 6 1/8; and three with classical figures in relief: a salad bowl with silver-plated rim and a lilac border to either side of a green center, dia. 7 3/4, a trophy plate with fruiting festoons terminating at ram's heads, the solid white body with relief in lilac and green, dia. 8 3/4, and a vase with upturned loop handles and zodiac border above classical medallions adorned with floral festoons, on a green ground with yellow and white relief, ht. 8 1/2 in.; impressed marks. Provenance: Property of the Saint Louis Art Museum. Sold to benefit the acquisition fund.
