Polychrome and Transfer-decorated Liverpool Pottery Creamware Pitcher, England, early 19th century, with a three-masted vessel and "SUCCESS TO TRADE" ribbon on one side, a coat of arms for the Cooper's Company on the other, and an eagle with inscription "Peace, Commerce, and honest Friendship with all Nations Entangling Alliances with none JEFFERSON/Anno Domini 1804" below the spout, (imperfections), ht. 7 3/4 in.
