Hollow Column Clock, Connecticut, c. 1832, mahogany veneered case with carved eagle splat, round hollow Doric columns flanking the round, painted-wood, Arabic numeral dial, mirrored lower door, label inside marked in part Patent Brass Eight-Day Clocks Manufactured for George Marsh & Co. , all on carved paw feet, eight-day, Ives strap brass movement powered by two weights which descend through the columns and regulated by a pendulum, ht. 38 in.
