Bench-made Mahogany Dwarf Clock, early 20th century, swan's neck hood with central finial and blind fretwork in the tympanum, freestanding fluted columns flanking the Roman numeral painted iron dial with a rocking ship automata in the arch, midsection with dentil molding, relief-carved freeze, highly figured mahogany serpentine-shaped waist door, and fluted quarter-columns, base with similar relief carving on chamfered corners, all resting on ogee bracket feet, eight-day time and strike with recoil escapement, powered by two lead weights and regulated by a pendulum, ht. 57 1/2 in.
